Rachel and Jordan may have the “meet cute” of all meet cutes. They met as summer camp counselors when they were teenagers. Life pulled them apart, they moved to different states, things happened, but they eventually found their way back to each other by a chance reunion in New Orleans. This became the obvious choice as the location to get married, and then voila – their colorful wedding at il Mercato came to be! Sarah Walsh doing an incredible job with the makeup! I love the colorful bouquet Antigua Floral made – named The Rachel. Both Rachel and Jordan got ready at the Henry Howard Hotel. It’s awesome when both parties are in the same space, so we were able to easily coordinate the first look and group photos. Another colorful flower moment by Antigua! Kinfolk came in hot for the second line. Love that the people were cheering from the roof! Honest, the chaos of the hora never gets old for me! People circling around you and other people being lifted in chairs. I love it every single time! Obviously makes for sure fun photos too! Rachel asked Aaron Lane, the DJ, to play the 10 minute version of Taylor Swift’s All Too Well, and he obliged. The dance floor quickly filled with people screaming all the lyrics at the top of their lungs.
