What I love about these is Cat and Devin let their daughter, Diana, do her own thing. We let her play and kept shooting. I think it perfectly encapsulates this beautiful chaotic time in their lives.

Catherine and Devin are also incredible photographers themselves, so it meant a lot to me that I got to shoot this for them. They also own a coffee shop, and it is THE BEST. If you find yourself in Hammond, make sure to go to Luma Coffee. The space makes you feel so at home, and they have the most creative and beautiful coffee concoctions.

Fun fact: the first time I met Cat and Dev was for their engagement photos. YEARS ago. It's fun to see them grow as a couple and now a family. They are some of my very favorite people!

You gotta follow the kid's lead. Diana wanted to snack on some cuties, so guess what? The cuties made it into the session, and I think it made for some totally *cutie* photos.

Sometimes you have to trick kids into making the photos you imagine. That's actually Devin's wedding ring, which Diana is obsessed with. So we put it on Catherine's belly so she'd look..haha! That's the magic of photos people!

Mom and Dad need a nap, am I right?
So thankful for Catherine and Devin for letting me make my dream come true of doing a photo session in an airstream.
Check out this engagement session in the Bywater!
