This wedding at Bread Bar in Silver Plume, Colorado was such treat to capture. The cool, fall air felt amazing compared to the warm weather back in New Orleans and I really enjoyed traveling out to Colorado for this. Jenna + Chad tied the knot with 50 of their nearest and dearest surrounding them on a beautiful autumn day. Jenna + Chad booked an Airbnb not too far from the Bread Bar and Jenna got ready upstairs with just her mom there and Chad got ready downstairs by himself, just soaking in some quiet time before their day began. As introverts, Jenna + Chad wanted a secluded spot for their first look. I explored the area for them and found a perfect little hiking trail with a view of the whole town below. Chad and I hiked up there together and Jenna followed us, and had no problem navigating the trail with heels. (Total rockstar, am I right?) She was so fast, she almost beat us up there! After she rounded the bend, I stepped back to capture the moment and let their grand reveal unfold. Once we had captured some beautiful portraits, we headed over to their intimate and quirky venue, the Bread Bar. Once a bakery, now a bar and event venue, it was the perfect spot for Jenna + Chad's wedding! Jenna + Chad had a relaxed ceremony, officiated Jenna's grandfather. He kept his composure as long as he could, but there wasn't a dry eye in the house when he started tearing up. Post wedding ceremony, everyone started the party! Because they craved the untraditional and wanted everyone to feel relaxed and chill, Jenna + Chad brought in a food truck and tons of games. My personal favorite was the giant UNO set. I loved capturing this wedding at Bread Bar and I can't wait to go back to the wild west.
